Just noticed that you can nw authenticate/validate websites in Google Webmaster Tools using your Google Analytics tracking code.

How cool is that. No more need for META tags, strange files in your website root or DNS authentication… NICE!

Google loves to tease us with these previews of what it CAN do, but I have tried this with multiple sites and logins (admin on all of them) with no luck.
I love progress, but hate to waste my time trying the new shiny Google object when it only works for a small few.
Looking forward to using it when it really is live.
