Mass Bulk Ping Tool – What Is And How To Ping Online
By having your link building efforts indexed and attributed by Google you can accelerate the results achieved from your efforts. The problem to date (at least for me) has been how to achieve this. Sure you can link to your links from authority blogs but what if you have a hundred or so links to ping?
Thats where pingdevice.com comes into play
This excellent bulk ping tool is a free alternative to paid services like the ScrapeBox blog pinger tool and pings services including: Weblogs.com, Blo.gs, Technorati, Feed Burner, Syndic8, NewsGator, My Yahoo!, PubSub.com, Blogdigger, BlogRolling, BlogStreet, Moreover, Weblogalot, Icerocket, News Is Free, Topic Exchange, Google Blog Search ,Spinn3r, Bloglines, AideRSS, SkyGrid, Bitacoras, Collecta, Audio.Weblogs, RubHub, GeoURL, A2B GeoLocation, BlogShares without the need for you to fill in any captchas etc.
Amazing stuff.
What is Ping?
A Ping is basically a notification to the search engines and other broadcast media i.e. RSS sites etc that something has changed on a page. Built into wordpress is a Ping service that does this for you every time you add in some new content.
You can use a ping service like the Bulk Ping tool discussed above to not only repeat this process manually, but also ping other content i.e. new links created, articles published, old content updated etc.
What a cool tool to use! Definitely beats paying to have your site pinged. Keep up the great posts!
Cool stuff. Thanks for the post. I thought CMS’s like WordPress did this for you? Pingomatic is another viable option.
I’m not too savvy about the whole pinging site thing – is this safe? I presume you need to moderate it carefully. I can see why it would be beneficial for hits in dynamic php directories in order to get a better ranking page and also perhaps article submission sites – but if you were to ping your own site – what are the benefits?
its only beneficial for new content. so say you’re working on a cms that doesn’t ping new page publications, or your launching a new site that’s not based on wordpress then its handy to let Google know about it. The great thing about the bulk ping tool is it doesn’t mass ping to lots of different RPC servers, just to the core ones Google et al likes.
Cheers Mark – great explanation – would this be akin to submitting your site to google? (Not in Dmoz) but to big G’s search engine like: google[dot]co[dot]uk/addurl/ – or does it click it’s fingers at Google in another way via a different kind of signal?
what happen to pingdevice.com?
When using it I got only errors.
No updates?
pingdevice is good tool BUT THEY dont support Proxies so link are not getting index perperly … try BulkPing.com it’ll get ur links indexed with inbuilt private proxies
i would have given you a direct link… but then you tried and spam my blog despite me asking people not to.
sorry for that mark :)
OMFG you’ve done it again… check your USERNAME dude and stop spamming blogs lol.
I googled 2 minutes ago “bulk ping” you were #3 but the BEST tip…
Ready to use PingDevice .com for the very first time for my Main Street Marketing Machines – MSMM 2.0 Fusion project!
We have been using two other bulk pingin services. After researching i have to say this is a nice find. The interface is very simple not very pretty but who cares its so so easy to use i can have my team use it without having to teach them what to do lol .
Thanks for sharing this pinging tool. I have tried it and it works great when copying and pasting bulk sites into the search box. thanks again
No doubt it is cool and simple.but how do we know that how much the pinging is done and in which websites and pinging site it is done?
Thanks Mark! I know prefer the ping device you suggested over a number of the others, it seems to move much faster!!
that was nice pinging tool, is that your ?
The site Bulk Ping is down. Any body know why? Regardless, I tried ping device and it works fine as far as I can tell.
However, what is this concern about Ping Device not supporting proxies? How much does that matter.
P.S. I am a novice.
pingdevice.com seems a good bulk pinging tool and easy to use. but it does not shows the complete performance such as how many sites it have pinged etc.
i always use bulkping.com and it is working fine for me.
I was looking for bulkping site, and reached here through google.com. Pingdevice is showing to be attacked site. What happened to it. Thanks for your post though,
