From the creators of jailbreak comes flash for the iPhone.
Steve Jobs said it couldn’t be done but some crayzee guy has managed to port flash to the iPhone 4/3gs/3g so you can now play farmville in all its glory.
Its very buggy but worth it if you’re tired of seeing those blue lego bricks everywhere.
Steve never said it couldn’t be done, just that apple wouldn’t do it due to usability and battery efficiency issues. It’s one thing to get Flash videos and banners to work, but it will be interesting to see how interactive games and other hover based flash apps actually work, or not
Even if Apple decided against Flash because of battery efficiency or whatever, it’s still nice finally having a choice to use Flash. I don’t like Apple making this decision for me.
How good is it so far? Any first hand experience would be much appreciated.
I agree with Techsporer, I do not think there is a web technology that cannot be ported to iphone. This is their best strategy to balance between portability and battery life.
