I’ve been playing around with various combination’s of tools and techniques looking for a way of getting new domains indexed in Google as quickly as possible and I think I’ve found a great and super-simple solution that you can use to give your brand new website a head start. This technique works in under 6 hours (usually) and has been tried and tested on a number of brand new domains, and uses some of the tools previously posted on this blog!
OK to the ‘tutorial’
Firstly make sure you have some unique content posted to your host and make sure the domain is propogated.
Next use the Bulk Ping tool – just enter your domain (no sub pages needed)
Next use tool 1 and 3 from this list, entering your brand name (not anchor text) in the relevant boxes. This quickly gives you 2500 (ish) branded do and nofollow links form various domain info pages which are in turn automatically pinged.
…that’s all there is to it.

Interesting post. Great blog too actually. I’ve been reading it for a while.
I’ve just bought a new domain so will give this a go and see how it works. My only worry is that it seems quite a large number of backlinks in a very short period of time and whether that would trigger a penalty for a relatively new domain?
I think the sandbox is a myth. Yes you’d probably get popped if you shoved a load of high PR links at a domain but these are pretty low key… hey it works!
sand box is not a myth i know about many domains that faced this issue, one your domain goes into this effect than it take a lot of time and effort to recover and this is much difficult for a new blogger to get out and run smoothly.
trust me on this guys. it may be a penalty for building links too fast however as with all penalties they dissipate over time unless you’re banned.
I’m with Mark on this, I’ve launched numerous sites and have not seen anything of a sandbox. I have noticed a new site boost though for approx 7 days after first index, then a drop in rankings which returns over time with some SEO help… this may be what you’re experiencing??
Awesome blog by the way Mark.
Hi bem. I totally agree… people should stop drinking that cool-ade dated 2007 lolz
Hi Mark,
I agree with you, the tool will help new domains get indexed quickly. With regards the comments, I think getting sandboxed is a myth and if it were that easy to press a button and get a Google penalty, then you could do the same to rival sites. Google says it is extremely difficult to affect other sites.
New sites are often over optimised and receive anchor text links too early. A couple of permanent brand links on Ezine and Squidoo are probably a safer bet, to avoid the ‘sandbox’, which may just be a Google penalty for over optimisation of new sites.
Regards,
Martin.
Hi Martin,
I think a penalty is different to a trigger that automatically cuts in but good point.
Interesting comments about the Google “sandbox”. I think I’m with you Mark in that it’s a myth.
I’ve now tried the “tutorial” in the post and it worked a treat. It took a couple of days for the site to get indexed rather than just hours, but it worked perfectly.
Thanks again for a great post!
glad to be of help. Getting new domains indexed quickly is 1/2 the battle in the first few days of SEO.
Hi Mark! Great tips, indeed! Frankly speaking I’ve never heard about these tools before, and that’s a pity, because they would have been very helpful for me some time ago… But anyway, that’s great now I know this information, so probably I’ll use these tools when I need them next time. Thank you, Mark, and keep writing such useful posts here ;)
Regards,
Claire.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. The bulk ping tool is something I have been trying to find for a long time. I didn’t think a software that allowed you to ping more than one site at a time existed. Thanks man, really appreciate you sharing this.
Also, I have found that giving your site a little social bookmarking love using social marker is effective when it comes to indexing your site fast.
For a fast, free index, get yourself a delicious booook – mark – account.
T minus 10 mins till yahoo’s in after you click your own listing thus sending to the HP for a few seconds….
Slap a youtube vid on an big G seems to follow within moments. but pondering begins as to this algo featuring in the serps… but…
A good read tho, comments flying left right and centre here pal – great post.

Srsly, i think sandboxing is a thing of the past. Google wants new popular content and the shift towards social media means that things can have a burst of interest and they die away quickly.
Hi again, Mark:
Just to be sure, the tools you listed in the post are tools YOU would use for a new site of yours? (Or of a favorite client?)
Are there conditions where you WOULDN’T use these tools? For instance, would you ONLY use them on NEW sites, but not on established sites? Would you only use them on site that you wouldn’t mind if they did get penalized / banned?
I guess I am asking you to give us your feeling on how much risk might be involved with using these tools.
Theyre just A tool. and no you wont get penalised for using them as theyre domain stat tools like Alexa!
