Hi y’all. In the past i’ve posted big ass lists of social media sites like pligg etc for use in your social media strategy. I know that in the past these have been unclean with a large portion of the data being out of date.
However today you can download a CSV of cleaned social media sites that have been validated using the excellent Bookmarking Demon tool.
Theres around 2400 sites in this list so please exploit it however you please and I’d appreciate some backlink love on this as it was a complete chore to clean.

This is a huge list and I’ve been looking for one for awhile. I have a question, what do I do with it? Do you just paste it into BMD as is or is there something else that needs to be done first?

I pasted it in to auto detect and got a message that said “there is nothing to detect” then I pasted it in manual specification and got an error message that says; “there is nothing to add”
What am I missing?
copy links and save to file as csv, open in spreadsheet select comma as type and copy urls. Past into bmd works for me!
I have been thinking of purchasing Bookmarking Demon for a while, did you use it? Do you recommend it? I mean, it looks very promising but I am concerned about results.
Ive used BMD and to be honest the results are pretty poor. its very time consuming and results in lots of really low quality links. best to use a 3rd party service or onlywire.
I get pretty decent results (40-50% success rates), but the problem is, I have to turn off the proxies to do it. I also use decaptcher as well, so if you let it run for a few hours, you’ll get a lot of low quality back links. I usually just use them to fortify other back links. No huge impact on rankings though…
yes i can see how using them as links to your second tier properties would work.

in a simple answer, does BMD really help to rank your site? Would it be worth the price you paid?
I am thinking of buying but still want to know how it really works based on user experience.

Its not a tool i use any more, i fell out of love with it because it was just hard to manage especially when dealing with large recipient lists.
