I’ve just come across an incredibly sweet site where a designer has set up some brand guidelines based on himself… Now I’m not saying this is a new thing as the sites from 2004, just that its the first time I’ve seen it and I love the idea.

I don’t know whats happening (tho I suspect its the nofollow update or its just the Monday morning wobble that happens on Google each week) but my sites are rocking on the big G!
- Now page 1 for ‘Sofas’ (distnctive chesterfields.co.uk)
- Page 2 for ‘Beds’ (click 4 beds.co.uk) – and this site is less than 6 months old!
In addition Microsoft Bing is favoring our beds site with Click 4 Beds being 6th on page 1 for this term (amongst others)
Rumours have it that Google’s going back to Pagerank and that nofollowing links makes Pagerank evaporate instead of being aggregated through remaining dofollow links. Check Matts’ You&A for details.
