For what its worth I’ve put together this quick list of easy to generate links from .Gov domains. The format is pretty easy, just amend the querystring with your target link. The trick is to get links to these pages to enable them to transmit link juice. I suggest backing these up with some links from good dofollow social bookmarks and where possible try and get an internal link from the root .gov site to the internal page using blog comments or forum links etc as an orphaned link on a site is of little innitial value.
So if you want to generate 19 quick and easy links from .gov websites then here you go:

This was an interesting read. If I’ve understood it all correctly, this is to get Google to follow and index the links on these re-direct pages. Is that right?
I was just wondering if you would consider this a technique that Google might consider black hat / grey hat?

Hi Jimmy, yes this isnt a great technique and i have said ‘for what its worth’ however these istes are set up expressley so that they handle sites in this way so i wouldnt say theyre grey hat. Its a handy way of improving branded backlinks without much effort. Just make sure to social bookmark them through folkd or something similar to get the juice flowing.
It’s pretty clear to me how to create the querystring etc. But I’m not quite understanding how this works. Maybe a little more detail? Where is this link placed/published? If it’s that easy to create a backlink from a .gov site yourself, wouldn’t Google dismiss this type of link?

I don’t think these links will provide any benefit as they are at the moment and I notice you haven’t linked to the .gov pages, other than in this article. Have you used this method with success with other sites? I suppose 50 links to one of the redirect pages above would make it a good link?

Hi i’m still a bit confused how you added your name to the .gov page. I have recently gone from a PR0 to PR3 by adding comments in .gov forums . You I am a novice by learning very quickly. Any help would be appreciated
